GT PRO V2 – Rubber Black

The GT PRO V2 Rubber combines Cube Controls’ GT PRO V2 button box with the GT-Zero Rubber rim, creating a compact and durable GT-style wheel for serious PC sim racing. It is designed for drivers who want a precise steering wheel with a strong control layout, premium construction and a grip surface that can handle frequent use with minimal maintenance. GT PRO V2 Rubber is a strong option for sim racers who want a premium GT wheel without an integrated display, but with excellent materials, low-maintenance grip, compact handling, reliable paddles, physical controls and a VR-friendly layout that can be operated confidently by feel.

The GT-Zero Rubber rim uses a distinctive flat-top and flat-bottom shape with a 298 mm diameter. This gives the wheel a fast, responsive character while still offering enough grip area for confident car control. Compared with suede, the rubber-coated grip is easier to live with day to day and is especially practical for drivers who want consistent handling during long sessions, mixed driving disciplines or shared simulator use.

The wheel structure is built around a carbon fiber main plate and aluminium die-cast body, giving the GT PRO V2 Rubber the rigidity expected from a high-end sim racing wheel. The redesigned magnetic switchless shifter paddles offer short travel, zero play and crisp tactile feedback, helping every gear change feel clean, fast and repeatable.

This product page covers both paddle configurations. The 2-paddle version is the most focused option for drivers who mainly need reliable gear shifting. The 4-paddle version adds clutch paddles, useful for launch control, standing starts and advanced analogue input functions in compatible simulators. Both versions share the same core wheel platform, so the customer can choose the paddle setup that best matches their driving style.

The front interface gives fast access to essential simulator and car functions. Six backlit momentary buttons, two ON/OFF toggle switches with status LEDs, two front rotary encoders with RGB LEDs, two thumb rotary encoders and two multi-directional joysticks with integrated encoders can be mapped to functions such as brake bias, traction control, ABS, fuel mix, engine maps, pit limiter, lights, wipers, black box control or menu navigation.

Connection is flexible thanks to Dual Mode. The wheel can be used wirelessly through Bluetooth or wired through the Q-CONN USB cable. Windows recognizes the device as the same controller interface in both modes, which helps avoid remapping controls when switching between Bluetooth and wired USB use.

Configuration is handled through CubeSet software. The user can test inputs, adjust encoder pulse width, calibrate shifters and clutch paddles, customize RGB lighting, check device status and update firmware. The GT PRO V2 platform is also compatible with SimHub, allowing more advanced LED behavior and telemetry-based RGB profiles.

The universal rear hub supports common quick-release mounting standards, including 3-bolt, 1-inch and 70 mm PCD patterns. The wheel electronics connect directly to the PC, while the wheelbase handles force feedback and mechanical mounting. This makes the GT PRO V2 Rubber suitable for many Direct Drive ecosystems when paired with the correct wheelbase-side quick release.
