QS-H13 delivers motion cues through the seat. Pitch and roll help convey weight transfer, cornering and vibration effects driven by game telemetry. Its compact design suits installations without room for a platform that moves the entire cockpit.

It requires mounting to a stable frame and configuration in Qubic Manager, which provides game profiles and effect adjustment. QS-H13 does not provide independent vertical movement. Its design aims to reduce noise and vibration transmitted to the surroundings.

It supports VR and the VR HeadWay feature in Qubic Manager; availability depends on the game and VR setup. It can also be combined with the QS-BT1 belt tensioner using the mounting adapter supplied with QS-H13.

Qubic Manager Software

Qubic Manager is software developed by the hardware manufacturer to configure and operate motion platforms. It works with many racing and flight simulators on PC; the list of supported games grows with software updates.

Profiles and settings let you adjust motion intensity, responses to bumps, roll and pitch to your preferences.

Does the QS-H13 require a cockpit?

Yes. The QS-H13 must be mounted to a stable aluminum profile cockpit for safety and optimal performance. The package includes universal mounting adapters.

How silent is the QS-H13?

The manufacturer reports less than 58 dB(A) under normal operating conditions. QS-H13 is designed for quiet operation.

Does the QS-H13 transmit vibrations to the floor?

QS-H13 does not provide independent vertical movement and is designed to reduce vibration transmitted to its surroundings. Actual noise and vibration also depend on the mounting, cockpit, floor and motion settings.

Is the QS-H13 compatible with VR and VR HeadWay?

Yes. The QS-H13 is fully compatible with the VR and VR HeadWay feature in Qubic Manager software, which compensates the in-game image according to platform motion for a smoother VR experience.

Can the QS-H13 work with the Qubic System QS-BT1 belt tensioner?

How easy is it to install and set up?

The supplied adapters simplify mounting to a compatible cockpit. After installation, connect power and USB and configure Qubic Manager following the manufacturer’s instructions. Setup time depends on the cockpit and preparation of the installation.

Is it compatible with consoles?

No. The QS-H13 works exclusively with PC through the Qubic Manager software. Console platforms such as PlayStation or Xbox are not supported.

Why isn’t the QS-H13 equipped with e-brakes and why is that good?

Serviceability & noise: e-brakes are non-repairable and have moving internals that often cause disc rattling under vibration and haptic effects. Avoiding this noise source is intentional. Heat, power, weight: e-brake electromagnets produce more heat than the motors, add extra mass, and draw additional power during operation. QS-H13 runs at 46 V for dynamics; most e-brakes are 24 V, so they would need a second PSU. Motors typically use less power to hold position than e-brakes need to release and hold their internal discs. Limited real-world use: e-brakes help only when the unit is completely powered off, which is not a typical use case for a seat mover. Power-off behavior: QS-H13 uses a hardware passive circuit that gains power from spinning motors and at the same time limits their speed. The faster you try to move it, the more resistance it generates. When power is cut, the seat does not move abruptly; under load it slowly shifts forward or backward and settles safely.

Is software included, and how is it installed?

Yes, Qubic Manager software is required and can be easy downloaded. The QS-H13 serial number is needed for activation and profile setup. Qubic Manager license is free of charge.

What power requirements does it have?

The external power supply accepts 100–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz. For the mains connection, the manual specifies single-phase 120/230 V AC ±10%, 50–60 Hz, with protective earth and neutral. Maximum power supply output is 480 W; this is not the average power consumption during gameplay.

What type of seat is recommended?

It is strongly recommended to use a FIA-certified racing seat and harness for safety and optimal performance.
