The Qubic System 2DOF Seat Mover QS-H13 sets a new benchmark in the world of motion systems for those seeking a compact and ultra-quiet solution for their driving or flight simulator. It's built using the same advanced technology as the QS-220 actuators, outperforms and challenges all currently available seat mover solutions. By delivering smooth and precise motion across two axes (pitch/roll), it accurately simulates the forces experienced during braking, cornering in a car, or executing sharp maneuvers in an aircraft.

QS-H13 is engineered to be quiet and neighbour-friendly. Because it has no vertical up-down movement, it does not transmit the same kind of vibrations into the floor as many larger motion systems, making it a better fit for home environments and shared spaces. Setup is designed to be plug-and-play with a stable aluminum-profile cockpit, and the system is operated through Qubic Manager with game-specific profiles and tuning options.

For deeper immersion, QS-H13 is compatible with VR and supports VR HeadWay in Qubic Manager. It can also be combined with the QS-BT1 belt tensioner, using dedicated mounting brackets included in the package, creating a highly convincing and controlled motion plus harness feedback experience.

Does the QS-H13 require a cockpit?

Yes. The QS-H13 must be mounted to a stable aluminum profile cockpit for safety and optimal performance. The package includes universal mounting adapters.

How silent is the QS-H13?

QS-H13 operates quietly, with a noise level below 58 dB(A) under normal conditions – the quietest seat movers in its class.

Does the QS-H13 transmit vibrations to the floor?

No. The QS-H13 has no vertical “up-down” movement, so it does not transfer vibrations to the floor. It is designed to be neighbour friendly, even in shared spaces.

Is the QS-H13 compatible with VR and VR HeadWay?

Is it compatible with consoles?

No. The QS-H13 works exclusively with PC through the Qubic Manager software. Console platforms such as PlayStation or Xbox are not supported.

Why isn’t the QS-H13 equipped with e-brakes and why is that good?

Serviceability & noise: e-brakes are non-repairable and have moving internals that often cause disc rattling under vibration and haptic effects. Avoiding this noise source is intentional. Heat, power, weight: e-brake electromagnets produce more heat than the motors, add extra mass, and draw additional power during operation. QS-H13 runs at 46 V for dynamics; most e-brakes are 24 V, so they would need a second PSU. Motors typically use less power to hold position than e-brakes need to release and hold their internal discs. Limited real-world use: e-brakes help only when the unit is completely powered off, which is not a typical use case for a seat mover. Power-off behavior: QS-H13 uses a hardware passive circuit that gains power from spinning motors and at the same time limits their speed. The faster you try to move it, the more resistance it generates. When power is cut, the seat does not move abruptly; under load it slowly shifts forward or backward and settles safely.

Is software included, and how is it installed?

Yes, Qubic Manager software is required and can be easy downloaded. The QS-H13 serial number is needed for activation and profile setup. Qubic Manager license is free of charge.

What power requirements does it have?

QS-H13 requires a 120/230 ± 10% VAC 50-60 Hz single phase with ground and neutral connection.
